Biography Xiao Zhenghao (肖正浩), born October 5, 1988, is a Taiwanese professional 9-dan Go player renowned for his steady, strategic play and dominance in Taiwan’s domestic scene. Turning pro at age 12, he rose quickly to become one of Taiwan’s top players, winning the prestigious Guoshou title four times (2005, 2009, 2011, 2013) and the inaugural Siyuan Cup in 2011. Known for his deep reading, slow-paced, and endurance-focused style, Xiao has played over 700 professional games with a win rate around 57–58%. A key figure in Taiwanese Go, he is respected for his consistency, mentorship, and leadership in maintaining the island’s professional Go tradition amid intense regional competition.
