Join us this Saturday evening at the SF Go Club for a special screening of The Match, the acclaimed 2025 South Korean biographical sports drama that delves into the world of professional Go.


About the FilmThe Match tells the compelling true story of Cho Hun-hyun, a Go champion who discovers a gifted young boy, Lee Chang-ho, in an amateur contest during the 1980s. Recognizing his potential, Cho mentors Lee to become a professional player. However, as Lee's skills grow, tensions arise when he begins to challenge his mentor's teachings, leading to a dramatic shift in their relationship.
